When it first opened in 1956 the Statler was one of the most glamorous hotels in the world. This $175M redevelopment of the former Statler Hilton will include 219 luxury residences, 161 hotel rooms, boutique shopping, fine dining and a black box venue. This historic icon will be brought back to life by the boutique brand Curio by Hilton hotels. When Statler contacted Courage to re-envision their branding we were very honored! As a result, we did many hours of research about the original time period looking for inspiration. A tilt of the hat to Frank, this Rat Pack inspired logotype has a custom, hand-crafted signature feel; much like the service customers can expect at The Statler.
